Playmaïs: un jeu pour tous les âges / a game for all ages

Two years ago, I bought on sales three big boxes of Playmais. Then I stored them in a cupboard, and... forgot them. Since we are in Germany, I took them out five or six times. Strange monsters, flowers, trees and a few days ago a house have been created by Gabriel who loves to build with these pieces. Sophie is however more hesitant about the shapes she wants to do with the colorful sticks... but her innate sense of dispersion is always at the ready! (I found them in every corner of the living room... snif)

And for those who are wondering what Playmais is, it's a material made in Germany from corn (the whole plant), water and food colorings. It's not food but even if a kid chew a piece and swallow it, it won't be dangerous for their health. (As opposed with polystyrene...) Just a bit of water is needed to stick two pieces together. A great way to play, create and learn during family time!

  1. My sons love Playmais! My mother (their grandma) bought it for them to play with - and it was a hit. It's great that it encourages imagination and ingenuity!
