SotD / CdJ: Manhattan Kaboul

The week od the Duos is still actual! Today, a song that shake me at each listening. here is the original clip of the song. I didn't watch it before I search for the video to share with you. The first minute you won't perhaps understand the meaning of the pictures with this song, and then...

It's quite crazy but I remember what I was doing that day. I saw everything on France 2 "live".
My grand-mother was in the hospital for a surgery (bowel obstruction) and I just had the secretary on the phone who told me the surgery was beginning. I was zapping on the TV to clear my mind, recovering from a  rather nasty mononucleosis when the broadcast was cut by a news flash. I watched, horrified, the events happening. The plane which crashed into the second tower, made me realized that the same happened a few minutes before for the first tower. Priorities and ideas were then reordered in my mind... I passed the afternoon on my sofa, clinging to the remote device, a paquet of hankies within easy reach.

A few weeks later, this song was aired with Renaud and Axelle Red singing together. And damn, rebelote with the hankies!
