Creative Kids Culture Blog Hop: June 2015

Welcome to the Creative Kids Culture Blog Hop!

This month I have two favorites from the last blog hop, written both by Crafty Mom Share. They are about Mathematics! The first one is the History of Zero and the second is about the great Mathematicians of India.

For my highschool degree, I had chosen to pass the Baccalauréat Scientifique, which consists on more hours of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and a bit of Geology, and less about Litterature (and even none about economics). My major was Physics/Chemistry (they form a unique module in France and are taught by the same teacher). But I have always loved maths! That's why I'm so eager to learn more about the people who are behind all the notions I have learned at school, like in the post Indian Mathematicians.

The History of the Zero is a fascinating travel through time to search where and who "invented" it. It also make us rethink what we know about mathematics...
