Orberursel singt!

Ce midi, pendant deux heures, l'école de musique d'Oberursel a animé un choeur en plein air auquel tout le monde pouvait participer. Chansons traditionnelles allemandes, chants religieux, musiques d'autres pays (on a eu la Cucaraça en allemand, tout comme aussi Amstrong de Claude Nougaro... en allemand également, avec des paroles différentes), il y en avait pour tous les goûts. Depuis notre appartement, Sophie et moi avons pu écouter et chanter au début. Mais comme elle n'était pas prête à aller faire dodo, nous sommes descendues sur la place. C'est dans ces moments-là que je souhaiterais pouvoir participer de nouveau à un choeur...  Mais avec les enfants, il est difficile d'avoir une ou deux heures pour soi. Je n'arrive déjà pas à aller courir deux fois par semaine comme je voulais le faire cette année, alors du temps pour une activité artistique (toute seule) ! Pfu! Vivement que les deux loustics soient au Kindergarten, que je puisse essayer de trouver un loisir pour moi (en dehors de la maison)...

At noon and for two hours, Oberursel's music school conducted an open air choir for everyone who wished to sing. Traditional german songs, religious hymns, songs from other countries (we had the Cucaraça in german and also the song Amstrong by Claude Nougaro... in german too with different lyrics), there was something for everyone. From our flat, Sophie and I listened to them. But as she was not ready to go to sleep, we went down rather quickly. It's in these moments that I wish to be again part of a choir... But with the kids, it's difficult to have one or two hours for myself. I still can't manage to go running two times per week as I wanted this year, so to have time for an artistic activity (alone)! Pfu! As soon they will be together at the Kindergarten, I will try my luck in finding a hobby for me (outside from home)...

Comme je le disais, cet événement avait lieu sur la place d'Epinay. Les gens allaient et venaient, chantant les deux heures entières ou juste pour quelques chansons.

As I was saying, this event was on the Epinay Platz. People were coming and going, singing for the whole two hours or just for a few songs.

Pour ceux qui se demandent où étaient Gabriel et mon mari, ils participaient à une activité de la Primaire de notre paroisse. Ils ont passé eux-aussi un très bon moment.

For those wondering where were Gabriel and my husband, they were at an activity for the children of our ward. They had a great time too.
