Gabriel waited until his 8th month to sit by himself! He stayed sat when we put him on a play mat but couldn't sit on his own. We thought he was too lazy to ever do so ( and quite chubby too...)

Gabriel a attendu ses 8 mois pour se mettre assis tout seul! Il restait assis quand on le posait sur un tapis de jeu mais ne pouvait pas s’asseoir de lui-même. Nous pensions qu'il était trop paresseux pour un jour s'y mettre (et aussi assez rondouillard...).

And finaly, he just needed to have faith in his abilities and his abdominal muscles!

Et puis finalement, il fallait juste qu'il prenne confiance en lui et en ses muscles abdominaux!
