Elections municipales à Oberursel: posez vos questions aux candidats! / Oberursel's mayoral elections: ask the candidates!

Bonjour chères lectrices et chers lecteurs,

Hello dear readers,

Le mois prochain, le Dimanche 21 juin 2015, auront lieu les élections municipales à Oberursel. L'équipe municipale reste en place pour six ans et le maire actuel Hans-Georg Brum (SPD), qui a déjà rempli deux mandats, se représente avec comme concurrent le trésorier de la ville Thorsten Schorr (CDU).

Next month, on Sunday the 21st of June 2015, we will have the mayoral elections in Oberursel. The administrative team will stay for six years and the current mayor Hans-Georg Brum (SPD), who has already held the post two times, is candidate once more with the town treasurer Thorsten Schorr as his opponent (CDU).

En tant que habitante depuis plus de trois mois à Oberursel et issue d'un pays de l'Union Européenne, je vais avoir la possibilité de voter pour cette élection. J'ai d'ailleurs déjà reçu ma feuille pour voter -Wahlbenachrichtigung - (avec numéro du bureau de vote, etc). Pour ceux qui ne l'ont pas reçu d'ici Samedi 30 mai, contactez au plus vite le bureau des élections au 06171 502-270 ou bien envoyez un email à wahlamt@oberursel.de. En effet, le registre électoral est clôturé 16 jours avant le vote. 

Being an inhabitant from more than 3 months in Oberursel and coming from a European Union country, I will have the opportunity to vote for this election. I have in fact already received my polling card - Wahlbenachrichtigung - (with the name of the voting office, etc). For those who won't have received until Saturday the 30th of May, contact as soon as possible the electoral office at this number 06171 502-270 or send an email at wahlamt@oberursel.de. Be careful because the electoral roll is closed 16 days before the election day.

Comme j'en ai l'habitude depuis que j'ai le droit de voter (mes 18 ans donc...), je vais comparer les programmes des candidats.

As I'm used to since I am able to vote (my 18 years old birthday...), I will compare the both candidates' program.

Mon confrère blogueur, et journaliste pour l'Oberurseler Woche, Graham Tappenden aura l'opportunité de poser des questions aux deux candidats début juin. Venant du Royaume-Uni et habitant Oberursel depuis plusieurs années, certaines de ses questions porteront sur le thème de l'accueil des étrangers dans la ville. Seuls les ressortissants de l'Union Européenne pourront voter (environ 2000 personnes) mais la politique de la ville touche TOUS les habitants, quelque soit sa nationalité. Et certaines décisions peuvent affecter plus notablement les personnes étrangères sans que celles-ci soient au courant des changement (ne lisant pas forcement la presse allemande et locale).

Donc si vous êtes habitant(e) d'Oberursel, et plus particulièrement si vous êtes étrangers/étrangères (pas seulement UE), vous pouvez soumettre des propositions de questions dans les commentaires en bas de cet article. Je comprend le français, l'anglais et l'allemand, donc vous pouvez écrire dans une de ces trois langues. Dernier délai pour les soumissions: le Lundi 1er juin 2015.
