• A Kickstarter campaign that fits perfectly with my last post "5 must watch TV shows for kids":

Keys to the World

Keys to the World  is a fictional story about two sisters who must go back in time to save the world's landmarks from being erased from history. In each episode, the girls will travel to a different country through a magic door to find hidden clues to prevent "the keys" from getting into the wrong hands. Season 1 will feature landmarks in European countries and will be filmed on location in Ireland, England, France, Italy and Greece. There will be at least 6 episodes, which includes a 2-part episode for one of the countries.

That's a fun project for an educative program! If you like History and Geography, and would enjoy a serie really fitted for kids, please support Laura's campaign so that they can start filming the episodes of the first season. Pledge and share!

• Une université Indienne rouvre après 800 ans de fermeture. Non, ce n'est pas une blague, c'est un événement historique et un beau défi pour l'Inde qui souhaite retrouver une dimension universitaire internationale. Dimension internationale perdue il y a plusieurs siècles mais qui était très vivace à l'époque. Souhaitons à ce beau projet éducatif, intellectuel et spirituel (l'université est situé dans un haut-lieu du Bouddhisme) de pouvoir être un succès et d'attirer de nombreux étudiants, et d'aussi nombreux mécènes.

Une démarche intelligente et humaine pour que ceux qui ont le désir de se réinsérer dans la société, puissent le faire sur leurs atouts et leurs talents...

• A post about Grandparents: Why are they the best? Diana Limongi researched stories about her fellow bloggers friends and their grandparents. We said so much that it was quite difficult for her to chose what to write and what to "cut"... but the result is a pearl! [The picture I sent her from my grandmother with my son is in the diaporama]

• Un aventurier du XIXe siècle "hors-norme" et quelque peu filou: Richard Francis Burton. Cet article du Point pourrait être un peu moins "bout-en-train" (on se passerait bien des blagues...), mais il a au moins le mérite de nous faire l'esquisse d'un homme qui a vécu sa vie au fil du danger... et à qui nous devons l'ethnographie.
